Systems Analysis for Cybersecurity provides students with the requisite knowledge and skills to design complex cybersecurity systems through systematic workflows. The unit comprises fundamental components of systems analysis including, objects, users, interfacing and business system lifecycle – planning, analysis, design and implementation. Various modelling techniques for systems analysis are covered, such as systems and project management, requirements modelling, data and process modelling, and use case design and modelling. Other topics include use case and misuse case design and development, and strategies for system modelling, all from a cybersecurity perspective.
